Truth and Reconciliation
Tisdale Middle & Secondary School sits on Treaty Six territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route for the Saulteaux, Cree, Blackfoot, Dene, Nakota Sioux and Metis. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries, long before colonization. We also welcome students from the Kinistin Saulteaux nation who reside on Treaty four territory and travel every day up to treaty six to attend school.
